TNA Impact Video Game In 2005 TNA looked to further their journey as a top wrestling promotion by drafting ideas for a potential video game release. A lot of the TNA talent are younger guys and have been involved from the initial idea. To begin with meetings were held with "Electronic Arts," but when they hit a brick wall "Midway Games" took on the project and have now since revealed that the game will be a multi platform release. PS2, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii will all get a version of the game, as well as possible PC and Hand Held versions. AJ Styles and Samoa Joe, being regular gamers have had several meetings with Midway and have influenced the gameplay and features within the game. On the October 23, 2006 tapings of Impact Styles was motion scanned and showcased to the talent who were said to be "blown away" by its realism. Fans also got a taste of production as audio samples were recorded from the actual live audience at the Impact Zone. To help put across various match concepts and to make sure things are as realistic as possible Samoa Joe frequents the Midway Games studio, which is near Joe's home in LA. Spike TV held a video game awards on Decmeber 13, 2006 and kurt Angle made a special appearance to showcase the new game trailer, which you can view below:
Game Features- The Six Sided ring, full Impact Zone and other unlockable arenas will be featured in the game.- TNA's innovative matches The Ultimate X and King of The Mountain are present. - The game features an in depth Story Mode similar to the WWE games, allowing users to create and choose a career path based on the decisions and actions they take during certain storylines. - You can select what your wrestler wears and who your manager is during Story mode. - A series of Mini-Games can be played to unlock items and to train stats. - As always a Create A Wrestler mode will be in the game. - Midway is teasing that there will be "Online Tournaments" for users to play against each other as well.

It is unsure if Monty Brown and Jeff Hardy will be featured in the game since they have left for WWE. They were featured on the following promotional poster from Midway:
