Nick Hogan Car Crash Poll

Late in August we got the shocking news that Nick Hogan, son of the daddy of wrestling Hulk Hogan and a passenger were involved in a serious car accident. To begin with our hearts went out to the Hogan's, until we realised the extent of Nick's stupidity. Shortly after the news broke, so did the stories of his past offences. In the last year little Nicky has been cited four times for extreme speeding and has four points on his license. This is excluding the amount of times he's been let off, which he actually brags about to the media. He was clocked at 115 mph in a 70 mph zone, 106 mph in a 70 mph zone, 57 mph in a 30 mph zone, the most recent, on August 10th, 16 days before his massive accident, he was clocked doing 82 mph in a 45 mph construction zone while workers were present.

Multiple accidents, multiple points and multiple chances. Our most recent poll asked what the punishment should be for the, in my opinion, spoilt brat and it wasn't a shocking result from my perspective:

46% want him locked up, and I'm with you. Poor John Graziano, a young Marine back from Iraq is now stuck in a nursing home for the rest of his life, whilst his parents argue over his guardianship. Ok, he's not entirely innocent in all of this, he did get in to the car and must know of his friends reputation, but he doesn't deserve to be worse than dead, a cabbage does he?

29% of you were more forgiving of the fellow. Maybe you just didn't know the facts, but still 29% want him in rehab with his license revoked. Fair enough but Nick's had a lot of chances and although Hulk and whats her face are to blame for giving him a freaking Toyota Supra he needs to be punished.

17% didn't actually give a flying cheese. That's obviously the usual smart asses, but I also think a proportion of that result is down to the fact that we're sick of hearing about spoilt little celebs.

4% said "let him off he's a Hogan." Which I can only accept as sarcasm. And another 4% said "give him a break he's young." For the record I'm only 17 and if I put my friend in a nursing home I'd be handing myself in like a shot.
