MVP Beats Out The BacklashComing out top with 39% of the votes was the Batista & Undertaker Last Man Standing Match, which wasn't a bad match at all. In terms of production and hype it was a great "WWE" match and although slightly phony looking the spot at the end where the set was destroyed gave it a special feeling. Second with 34% was indeed MVP vs Chris Benoit and in my opinion was the best pure "wrestling" match on the show. MVP like I've been reporting for months is on his way up. He studies the Japanese tapes, discusses moves with the veterans and is showing a real positive approach to becoming the best he can possibly be which is something we need right now. I get the sense Benoit is willing to pass the torch to this young hard worker and the 2 out of 3 falls match at Judgment day should be something special. Melina & Mickie James got a slim 2% of the votes but it proves good women's wrestling (not cat fights) is a lot more respected than McMahon would care to recognize. You voted it better than his match so that could tell him something.
The rest of the matches got nothing. Probably because they just didn't stand out as much as the above.
